How Two Coffee Chats Changed Our Founder's Life

Hi! I'm Chris, and I'm the founder of Coffee Chats. I built Coffee Chats because I've personally experienced how a simple coffee chat at the right time can change your life.

In 2012, I got coffee with a college friend and asked her to reconnect me with a mutual friend. I had a crush on that mutual friend for years, and surprisingly, my friend helped reconnect us. Fast forward a year later, we were dating, and fast forward to today, we're now married with a baby boy.

The second coffee chat was also in 2012 when Bernard and I were working together at Bonobos. We didn't work together but had similar interests, and through monthly coffee chats, we became good friends, and because of that friendship, Bernard referred me to Google, which was a life-changing role. However, in 2020, Bernard suddenly passed away. I miss him every day, but I'm also eternally grateful for the wisdom and guidance he gave me over those many cups of coffee.
